  Lo studio spagnolo A-cero realizza a Las Rozas nella regione di madrid, una prestigiosa villa.

Come in altre occasioni, essi prediligono l’uso del travertino italiano per le finiture della casa, definendo i volumi netti della villa con un rivestimento in lastre di grande formato.

Il travertino, caratterizza tutte le finiture della villa, dai pavimenti esterni a quelli interni, al rivestimento delle facciate, alla definizione dei dettagli e delle decorazioni, così come si vede nell’ampio doppio volume interno.

Questo materiale, ancora una volta mostra tutte le sue potenzialità espressive e la sua flessibilità d’uso.

Un materiale da costruzione, usato per costruire in tutte le epoche della storia dell’arte, continua ad essere perfettamente idoneo ad adattarsi alle forme dell’architettura contemporanea

As on other occasions, they prefer to use Italian travertine to finish all the home details,defining the net and clean volume of the villa with a covering in large format slabs.
The travertine, features all the finishes of the villa, from external and internal floors,covering facades,decorations details, as seen in the large doubleinternal volume.
This material, once again shows all its expressive power and flexibility of use.
A construction material used to build in all periods of art history, continues to be perfectly suited to adapt to the shape of contemporary architecture

Il progetto di cui parliamo oggi in questo articolo, nasce da una stretta collaborazione avuta fra i progettisti, l’ingegnere tecnico, scout del marmo, i cavatori.
I progettisti erano alla ricerca di un materiale che soddisfacesse le loro esigenze cromatiche, tecniche e di costo per la realizzazione di questo edificio che richiedeva Pavimenti, Rivestimenti (Ventilati e non), Scale, Copertine e tutti i vari pezzi speciali per ottenere un ottimo effetto ottico e funzionale.
Infatti dopo aver suggerito vari materiali al progettista, aver visionato le difficoltà del lavoro, analizzato i particolari tecnici, è stato scelto di usare il Travertino sia per il suo aspetto che per le sue caratteristiche tecniche, di antigelività e di effetti cromatici.
The project we talk about today on this article, was born from a tight cooperation had among the designer, the engineer, the stone scouts, the quarriers.
The designers were looking for a material to satisfy their needs in terms of color, technical characteristics and cost to be used in this building for Floors, Claddings, Stairs, Walls Coverings and all the other pieces required to obtain a great look and the right function.
After proposing to the designers various materials and had seen the difficulties of the job, analyzed the technical problems Travertine was chosen both for its look and its very good technical characteristics. Frost proof, and color effect.

La prima fase fu quella, appunto, di scremare vari materiali fino ad arrivare alla scelta del Travertino, dopo di che fu organizzata una gita presso le cave con i progettisti, la proprietà dell’immobile e l’impresa appaltatrice.
First thing to be done was evaluate variuos materials until Travertine was chosen, done this a trip to the quarries was arranged with the designers, property and the general contractor.

Durante la visita presso le due cave che avevamo scelto, per tipologia di materiale e per le capacità produttive, abbiamo predisposto dei “Mock Up” del materiale per poter visionare l’effetto che doveva essere ottenuto  e poter così scegliere al meglio con chi andare ad eseguire il lavoro.
During the visit to the quarries that were selected because of the type of material and for the production capacity, we prepared two “Mock Ups” of the materials to be able to see the effect to be obtained and be able to choose at best with whom to produce the job.

Successivamente sono stati effettuati i test sulle caratteristiche dei materiali scelti per far si che l’ingegnere potesse redigere tutti i particolari tecnici e le giuste dimensioni per la realizzazione dei pezzi, date le indicazioni dei progettisti e i consigli tecnici e di esperienza del produttore.
After we took test on the stones to be able to have the exact results to be given to the engineer to produce all the technical details with the right dimensions to cut the pieces, always keeping in mind the designer leads and the recommendations given by the experience of the producer.

Il materiale è stato quindi prodotto in base ai CUT LIST ed hai disegni esecuti, preparato per la spedizione e controllato per ovviare ad errori e quindi a ritardi.
All the pieces needed were cut based upon the CUT LISTS and the drawings, once prepared for shipmen was all double checked to avoid mistakes and delays.

Ed infine imballato per essere spedito via container su nave. At the end packed properly to be shipped on containers.

Una volta ricevuto in cantiere il materiale è stato messo in posa. Once received on the job site everything was installed.

Questo progetto ha richiesto materiale sia per esterni, che per interni. This project needed material both for interiors and exterior.

I risultato finale combina materiali contemporanei (vetro e acciaio) con una pietra fortemente espressiva, ma anche adatta a resistere alle rigidissime temperature che si raggiungo a Kansas City nell’inverno (fino a -30°) adatto.
The final result is a combination of contemporary materials (glass, steel) with a a stone rich and worm, but also right to be used in the cold weather of the Kansas City winters (-30°).
